Personal Brand Visual Identity for Youssef Ghalem

Youssef Ghalem, a serial entrepreneur and founder of leading Moroccan e-learning platform Kizakoo, luxury brand Miratti, and co-founder of Ai Crafters, entrusted me with the creation of a comprehensive visual identity and art direction for his personal brand. This project also extended to several of his ventures, including the Failurepreneurs community, the book “Serial Failurepreneur,” 02Book, and the Failurepreneurs app.

Scope :

 

Objective: The aim was to craft a visual identity that resonates deeply with Youssef’s personality, history, and the challenges he faced throughout his entrepreneurial journey. This identity needed to encapsulate the essence of his experiences, particularly the numerous failures and deceptions he endured.

Creative Direction: Drawing inspiration from Youssef’s personal narrative, the art direction focuses on themes of resilience and perseverance. Key elements include:

  • Color Scheme: Dominant use of red to symbolize suffering and endurance.
  • Symbolism: The eagle, Youssef’s favorite animal, represents his tenacity and unwavering focus amidst adversity. The eagle, embodying strength and vision, serves as a central element in the brand identity.

Process:

  1. Mood Board Creation: Developed a mood board reflecting the emotional and visual tones of Youssef’s journey, incorporating serious elements that highlight the gravity of his experiences.
  2. Identity Design: Crafted a cohesive visual identity that includes logos, typography, and color palettes aligned with the brand’s narrative.
  3. Application: Implemented the visual identity across various projects and platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with Youssef’s overarching brand story.

Outcome: The resulting brand identity not only captures the spirit of Youssef Ghalem’s entrepreneurial path but also sets a distinct and memorable tone for his current and future endeavors. The integration of meaningful elements like the eagle and the color red ensures that his personal brand stands out and resonates with his audience, symbolizing his journey from struggle to triumph.
